    Cook Time: 20 minutes
    Start to Finish: 30 minutes


    4 pieces banana
    1 medium onion, finely chopped
    1 tablespoon ground ginger
    1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
    1/2 teaspoon chili powder
    oil for frying


    Peel and roughly mash bananas. Add finely chopped onion. Mix well.

    Mix in ground ginger, chili powder, salt, and flour. Add more flour if mixture is too thin.

    Heat oil.

    Flatten a tablespoon of banana mixture into the hot oil. Fry until golden brown.

    Transfer to paper towels to drain. Serve sprinkled with more chili powder.
