Yum Yield: about 1 1/2 cups Servings: 8 Prep Time: 5 minutes Stovetop Time: 5 minutes Cool Time: not specified Start to Finish: 10 minutes + cool time Times are approximate Ingredients: 1 cup heavy cream 20 ounces semisweet chocolate 1/4 cup unsalted butter, softened 2 tablespoons sugar Suggested Items: 1-quart saucepan Electric Mixer Directions: Chop chocolate into bite-size pieces. Reserve. Bring cream to a boil in a stainless steel or nonstick 1-quart saucepan. Do not use aluminum! When cream comes to a boil, remove from heat and immediately beat in chocolate, butter and sugar. Stir until smooth. Set aside to cool completely.
