Butterscotch Fudge
Yum Servings: 48 Prep Time: 5 minutes Stovetop Time: 10 minutes Cool Time: 2 hours Start to Finish: 2 hours, 15 minutes Times are approximate Ingredients: 1 1/2 cups packed dark brown sugar 1/2 cup butter 5 oz can evaporated milk 7 oz jar marshmallow cream 11 oz bag butterscotch chips 1 cup chopped pecans Suggested Items: 8" square pan candy thermometer Directions: Grease bottom and sides of 8" square pan with butter. In heavy saucepan, cook first 3 ingredients, stirring constantly, until butter is melted. Stir in marshmallow cream. Heat to boiling over medium heat and boil about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally, to 234° on candy thermometer or until small amount of mixture dropped into cup of very cold water forms a soft ball that flattens when removed from water. Remove from heat. Add butterscotch chips, stirring until smooth. Stir in pecans. Spread in pan. Let stand 2 hours or until firm. Home |  Desserts |  Candy
