- 1 (6 oz.) pkg. cherry flavored gelatin
- 2 cups boiling water
- 1 (15 oz.) can blueberries in heavy syrup (not pie filling) undrained
- 1 (8 oz.) package cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 cup sour cream (8 0z.)
- 1/4 cup pecans, chopped
Dissolve gelatin in boiling water; stir in blueberries. Pour into 12x8x2 dish; chill until set.
In mixing bowl. beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth. Add vanilla and sour cream, mix well. Spread over the gelatin layer. Sprinkle with pecans.
Chill several hours or overnight.
Prep time includes minimum chilling time. Chill longer to meld the flavors.
